Coffee and a chaser it is. Don't think they'll sleep much this night

The latest is the creepiest rhyme yet even if the last line fails to. Excited for more.

Looking forward to the saga continuing. Good stuff and timely Halloween fun. Well written. I can smell that elementary school.

I'm drawing on my school, but I am not Peter McDonnell, and happily I never heard that Patty Cake second verse.

Ha! Good to hear. I have a feeling that those who hear the verse live (or not) to regret it.

B, thank you for your following "Patty Cake." I love your comments and I hope I can keep you entertained...and maybe a little on edge as the story continues to unfold.

Monday back to work after a crazy weekend? If I were Peter, I'd have opted for the bacon and eggs.

HA HA! He'll wish he had after what's coming. I finished my complete outline for the new chapter and started writing it yesterday. It's funny, with the OZ book I can go seat of the pants for a while, but not with "Patty Cake." Are you a plotter or a pantser, B?

Ooooh. Good latest chapter. Well done...I thought before an earlier character might have something to do with it all...Not so sure...Surprised I do not recall that particular Twilight Zone. Will have to search it out.

Don't completely rule out that earlier character ( I thinkI know who you have in mind). "Things are seldom what they seem," wrote Gilbert and Sullivan for the "The P:inafore." :)

Very good and genuinely eerie and haunting. What will become of Peter? I ask rhetorically

Surely the question (as you ask Freudian or not?), are these internal or external forces?

I think Peter lost his appetite. Me too. A reuben sandwich sounded good until thoughts of castration did away with such musings. Ha
